Approach
The school layout embraces a child-centered approach, igniting a spirit of adventure through incorporating interactive spaces within rectangular strips that are shifted, altered, and rotated, adding an element of excitement to the learning environment. These strips are strategically allocated for various purposes; the multipurpose strip is positioned to create a welcoming entrance and serve as a link connecting the children with the community that encourages exchange of ideas. The classroom strips, on the other hand, are carefully oriented to maximize natural lighting and ventilation, providing an optimal environment for learning.
A dynamic spine flows along the whole school interconnecting these strips, symbolizing the adventurous nature of the children leading to their creative expression. It serves as a playful architectural feature that connects and unifies the masses. The outdoor areas emerging from the strips and the spine offer a range of private, semi-private, and public spaces, encouraging community interaction and self-discovery.
